| All good things must come to an end. Well...........mediocre things, too. And not to mention it, all bad things as well. Anyways.......... Goodbye Xanga Land I must attend to life and so blogging has been scratched off the list of "must haves" and "must do's" I will visit Xanga Land to say hello and see what all my ex-fellow Xangans have going on in their lives, but I must move on and out of Xanga Land. **Waves good-bye and blows kisses** | | |
| I know it is still only October and we haven't even knocked on doors and made our plea for "tricks or treats" but for some reason I have been thinking about my family a lot and about our Christmas traditions. My favorite memory is squeezing into my Grandma's 2 bedroom 1 bath house (Mom's side) on Christmas Eve along with all the other family members, by the way, my Mom is one of 9 children each one of them have at least two children, so it was "cozy" but we loved it! Getting that many Italians in one place together is quite the memory. When a cousin would bring a someone "special" to the occasion....let's just say they were tired of hugging and eating!! WHEW!! And to remember all those names.....HA! Anyways, my Uncle Virgil would put on his Santa hat and pass out presents, mostly to my grandma and grandpa, but then we would all sit around and listen to stories about everyone when they were younger and how 11 people lived their lives "back in the day". I will never forget all the laughs and great stories told every year. Then the guys would get together and play poker or dominoes until the wee hours of the morning and the women would sit around and chat and the kids would play or be crashed out on the beds and the floor. Then we would all head home and meet back up again the next afternoon to have Christmas dinner and watch the Cowboys play. I miss my family........ What is your favorite Christmas tradition?? | | |
| **Burn Music CD's **Vaccumm seal food **Make Quiche for dinner **Keep kids from killing each other
All of this at the same time plus a headache...........Multi-takser I am. I'm tired.

| Just wanted to let all the 24 Hour Fitness worker-outers know that there will not be any Group X classes being held at the Carrollton gym for three weeks starting this Saturday. This will not effect any of the Cycling classes except they are scheduling MORE cycle classes during this time. The Carrollton gym has been chosen out of all the clubs in the nation to become a site for "The Alley". This is a state-of-the-art group fitness room that will include great lighting, sound system, stage, equipment, and special effects. So it will be worth the wait. Only the best of the best will be teaching the Group X classes at Carrollton so you are extra lucky if you happen work out at this gym!! And if you don't......well....you might want to start. I'm excited!!! It will be a great change. New room and new classes with new formats!! WOO HOO! | | |
| It's a bad thing when your Cycle instructor is sick and shows up anyway. (Yes, BK...I know....she might have germs and spread them, but I'm talking about bad in a different way. ) Especially when she KNOWS you are in training to teach that same class format.............yeah, should of gone to the OTHER gym's class. Not prepared to teach = embarrasing Getting through it = WOO HOO!
